We are proud to
introduce the St. Catharines Female Hockey Association (SCFHA)
as the only all-female hockey league in our city. We are
anticipating a great inaugural 2008-09 season. We expect to
have over 400 female hockey players from our community
participating this year on both house league and Rep (Travel)
teams. As a non-profit organization, the SCFHA is dependent on
the generous support of community sponsors and local businesses
to help grow our organization and develop our young female
hockey players.
There are three ways in which you may choose to
help sponsor a team. House League sponsorship is
$500 a year while Rep Team sponsorship is $600
for one set of sweaters or $1,200 for both sets,
Home and Away. Sponsorship bars advertising
your business will be sewn onto each team jersey
where members of our community will be able to
recognize your name and appreciate your support.
We will also be advertising your sponsorship in
all our print material including our annual
tournament program and on a Banner used at
community fundraisers including our Stag & Doe
and annual banquet.
Hockey provides a forum
for learning life lessons and developing everlasting
friendships, not only for the player, but for the
numerous families, friends and volunteers that help
to keep our program active. The SCFHA encourages
hockey development as well as the development of
critical thinking and life skills, so that our young
women can grow to be great contributors to the
health of our community.
The success of our
organization depends on the dedication from local
businesses and individuals committed to the
development of the sport and these young women.
