Do I need to fill out a player release form?

If you played in the SCFHA Hockey Program last season, you do not require a Player Release. If you played in another girls' organization last year, you must get that association to sign a Player Release form. This completed form must accompany your registration form. There is not a cost for this procedure. Last years' association will be able to provide you with a Player Release Form. This does not apply to girls who played in a co-ed league last season.

Is there a Goaltender Discount?

Full-time goaltenders will be refunded $50.00 at a later date in the season from the league. Part-time goalies are not included in this rebate. Equipment will be supplied by SCFHA up to and including Peewee. House League use only.

When will I receive my Tax Receipt for this season?

Official receipts will be issued in the early January 2011 for tax purposes distributed by your coaching staff to the parents, not to the players.

Refund Information

Refunds will be granted up to November 15, 2010. To view the SCFHA Refund Policy and the Refund Form, go to the Forms Page on the SCFHA website at: http://www.scfha.com/forms.htm.
In the event of “injury” where a player is unable to continue for the season, a refund pro-rated based on the date the player becomes injured may be granted.  The refund is conditional upon presentation of a doctor’s note indicating that the injury is “season ending” and approval by the SCFHA Executive.
