TRILLIUM Grant
The SCFHA has been
granted $100,900 over three years to improve the
skills of female athletes aged 4 to 21 through a
long-term player and coaching development plan to
improve performance and promote a healthy lifestyle
for participants in the Niagara area.

FUNdamentals Volunteer Required
The
SCFHA is looking for someone to look after our
Fundamentals program. The program runs on Saturdays
for one hour beginning at 10:15 AM at Rex Stimers
Arena from mid October to March. There are
approximately 20 participants and we generally have
about 8 on-ice helpers. The Director of Fundamentals
is a Board position, but the position can be
adjusted to suit the volunteer. General duties are
to plan the weekly program, organize the
on-ice helpers and keep the parents informed of
SCFHA events. If you are interested, please

Chaos Team Head Coaches
Welcome Hockey Fans across Canada....
On Saturday April 3 St. Catharines Ontario were
highlighted across Canada and in the north United
States as our own St. Catharines Novice Girls
Panthers announce the Hockey Night in Canada on CBC
. The team sent in their request for a contest put
on by the Scotiabank and CBC. The team entered a
story along with a team picture and they were
selected from teams across Canada to be on the
opening scene of Hockey Night in Canada on Sat.
April 3. The CBC film crew attended one of the
teams practices on Tuesday night and filmed various
clips.
